Hunters have long sought a more compact bugle tube that maintains exceptional sound quality. In February 2023, Kyle Bradshaw collaborated with Phelps and his brother Steven to introduce the Kyven Gear modular bugle tube—an innovative design named in their honor. This tube elegantly collapses to the size of a Nalgene water bottle while delivering a remarkable range of sounds, from piercing screams to deep grunts and chuckles. When not in use, its segments nest securely for convenient transport. Expanding and collapsing the tube involves a precise counterclockwise and clockwise twisting mechanism—carefully designed to avoid cross-threading and over-tightening.
